The Amazing Race!!













The Amazing Race was an inquiry to find different people who work in our school.

At the start of the Amazing Race we put red and blue head bands on our head. We went on the Amazing Race because it was fun and interesting. by Ally Chen

My name is Stuart. On the Amazing Race I had a great time. We had to collect the cards from people who work at AISS. There was no more canteen cards so we just got them to sign in and we moved along.

Interview with Mr Iswandi





Mr Iswandi works in our school. He fixes the computers. He is the System Support technian.

Ella, Kayla and Georgia interviewed Mr lswandi. Ella asked, " Who taught you about computers? Mr lswandi said, " I got taught at my school. " By Ella.

Kayla asked Mr Iswandi, "How do you know how to fix computers?"
Mr Iswandi said, "I went to a computer school to learn." By Kayla.

New UOI - How we organise ourselves?

We have begun a new unit of inquiry called ' How we organise ourselves' We are inquiring into How our school is organised? Who works at our school? and How is our school similar and different to other schools?

International Mother Tongue Day

Last week we celebrated International Mother Tongue Day. Jessica Tan and Sebastian Howell's mums came in to the class to read a story in their mother tongue.
Jessica's mum Laura read 3 stories in mandarin. Laura comes from Singapore and was taught mandarin and english at school.
Sebastian's mum Natsimma comes from Thailand. She read us a story about a crocodile in thai and english. It was a great story.
