Happy Birthday Ms Ryan

Next week is Ms Ryan's birthday. The parents came in and celebrated with a cake and present. Nihilan made a cake with his mum for Ms Ryan. He used the clown face as an inspiration from the Mask parade.
Thanks Nihilan and all the class and parents!

Finished Lanterns

We completed our Lanterns for the Mid Autumn Festival!

Foundation Day

This week AIS celebrated it's 17th birthday! All Junior classes met on the oval to sing Happy Birthday and have a cupcake!

Making Paper

This week we looked at how paper is made. Paper comes from wood pulp but is a man made material. This was fun!

New Unit of Inquiry - How the world works!

This week we began the new UOI with the central idea "Materials can be transformed into something different for a purpose. We connected this with our maths unit on 3D shapes and Mid Autumn Lantern Festival and made Lanterns using sticks to make the shape.
